Waldstätterhof Swiss Quality Hotel

It's very close to the train station so pushing our luggages to the hotel was fairly simple and quick! Location wise it's also very close to the town square, you just need to cross the bridge so the walking distance is really manageable. Bus stops are also very close by! Staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was delectable.

Within walking distance from the train station, the Port and Chapel Bridge. Very convenient! The hotel has a lift, amazing breakfast and the staff in the restaurant were so friendly - they really climbed deep into our hearts. We will miss them for sure

Great location in Lucerne...close to train station, Chapel Bridge. the lake, the old district, etc. Easy access to the important sites. The room was clean and as advertised. Good value. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They held our luggage while our room was readied (we arrived early). Nice breakfast.

The location is excellent...right across the street of the main train station. The room we got is very spacious and the breakfast is superb. The staff were excellent (Hamid Asiz, Sarina, Livia) helping us for directions and other things we need. Our room has a shutter that can make your room in total darkness inducing you to sleep well. Some say it's noisy, not in our room which is facing the train station...it was very quiet. It's near the Chapel Bridge.

Where to start!? Outstanding check in and my room was available 30 minutes earlier than I had planned. Hotel's interior was modern with a hint of yesteryear. Elevators worked fine and were quiet and stairs to the 3rd floor were easily managed with luggage. Room was soundproofed well and roomy. TV was a standard 30-inch flat screen and worked fine. Bathroom was modem with a shower head that could point straight down like a waterfall and became hot after three seconds with body wash provided and shower doors met (closed) at a corner. The breakfast which was included in my price was making me want to stay longer! From 0630 to 1030, one could graze like a Swiss cow at the buffet consisting of scrambled eggs, and bacon/sausages, Breads featuring croissants rolls, various jams and yogurts, cold water, mixed and regular orange juice along with a make-your-own-cappuccino machine (coffee of various varieties as well) rounded out the offering. All the while eating in a great restaurant setting! If I had day trips to other Swiss locations, I can walk out the front door 300 meters and be at the Bahnhof and off for an augmented adventure to Geneva, Zurich, or the nearby Swiss Alps.
